AYURVEDIC MEDICINE PRACTITIONER SERVICES AND CONSULTATIONS

Ayurveda is the traditional Indian system of medicine. Its aim is to preserve health and wellbeing in the individual through maintaining homeostasis in the mind, body, and spirit, preventing disease and for those that are diseased, where possible, to reduce the signs and symptoms and maximise the quality of life for the individual.

Today, the wisdom and teachings of Ayurveda are used to enhance and balance one’s life. A truly holistic approach to health and wellbeing, Ayurveda, simply put, has its foundations on the principles of living in harmony with nature’s cycles and rhythms, seasons, cycles and will always work to aim to find the root cause of an imbalance, rather than just looking at the signs and symptoms of an illness or disease.

Ayurveda looks at the individual on an individual basis. No one size fits all – each individual is seen as unique, with a unique constitutional makeup, of which can become imbalanced in its own way through things such as: unhealthy diet and lifestyle, seasonal or environmental changes, unhealthy thought patterns and so on.

In order to help an individual to rebalance, and move back to a state of equilibrium, we will look at all parts of one’s physical, emotional, and spiritual makeup, and can prescribe the following to help bring the body back to a level of homeostasis:

  • Nutritional and lifestyle modifications
  • Exercise, yoga, breathwork and/or meditation
  • Ayurvedic bodywork and remedial massage therapies
  • Herbal preparations (all herbal preparations that we dispense to clients are made and/or prepared on our premises using certified organic ingredients as part of a stringent quality control process)
  • Detox therapies
  • Ayurvedic and/or holistic counselling

We offer both Telehealth online and in-person consultations  (COVID-19 Restrictions permitting) for both our regional and much broader community.
