This COVID-19 Management Plan has been developed to outline our approach to manage the risks associated with COVID-19 in the workplace.

Purpose and objectives:
Mandaram is dedicated to the health, safety and wellbeing of all team members, clients, contractors and visitors.

We acknowledge the additional COVID-19 precautions and that these are outlined in this COVID Safety Plan.

1.   Practice access and patient flow

To control the flow of people into and through the practice, we:

• Encourage TeleHealth consultations during higher rate incidences of COVID-19 outbreaks (where appropriate)

• Have a management plan in place for clients presenting with symptoms suggestive of COVID-19

• During higher rate incidences of COVID-19, clients are encouraged to wear a face mask, but unless stipulated in appointment bookings, this is not mandatory.

2.   Physical distancing

While acknowledging the nature of the work undertaken at Mandaram, where possible a physical distance of 1.5 m with a client is maintained wherever possible.

3.   Infection-control training

All members of the staff are up to date on infection control and are aware how to handle a client that presents with COVID-19 symptoms.

4.   Environmental management and cleaning

Our practice will regularly clean and disinfect shared spaces, surfaces and communal items. Our practice will:

• Enhance air flow by opening windows and doors in shared spaces (where and when appropriate) and optimising fresh air flow in air conditioning systems

• Adhere to environmental cleaning practices as required

• Clean and disinfect frequently touched surfaces
